exhausted...

had mah CS paper ytd.. hopefully, i can pass this time round (but who noes, bleahz!)

anyway, something happened to mah dad and i was in the midst of doing the paper.. he met with an accident.. his left toe was smashed by a 14.0kg gas cylinder.. brave enuff, he called for an ambulance and requested to be sent to Alexandra Hospital.. and the medic told him off "Uncle, you still want to choose hospital ah?" haha!

Sis, Lucas, Bro and mum rushed down to the General Hospital to look for dad..

As described by dad, Lucas was petrified.. guess it's his 1st time seeing his grandpa in pain and he was kinda worried for my dad.. Silly but kind boy ain't he?

went home right after my exams to see my dad.. phew! Dad was fine and the Doc said that final findings and the x-ray will be out only on Fri (why take such a long time..)~

today's a day for me to start my CFM revision. i have no intention to start 'coz i noe the results would be the same.. FAILURE.. Actually, I had the intention to GIVE IT UP!

why? i guess i didn't put in enuff effort for this subject.. couldn't comprehend the numerics and formulae into the coconut of mine.. im just too sucky with MATHS!

excuses, u may find these explanations.. but tt's what i think!

can't believe tt i'm stucked in failure, yet again, delaying all my plans~ gosh!

not feeling v well today and really, no motivation to study! i really wanta pass my exams, at least for CS.. but i'm just too sick of seeing these notes and tt thick book..

gosh.. i missed friday's f1 live telecast at 10pm... so i caught it last nite and tonite's final..

haha! i was totally into F1's race for these 3 nites.. and guess what, I'm into Lewis Hamilton of McClarens-Mercedes... he's soooo handsome and only 23 this yr! so sad tt he got 3rd in place.. nevertheless, he's still 1st in drivers' standing!!! hooray! bro and dad's die-hard fans for Ferrari.. Kimi Raikkonnen so "suay"... crashed and couldn't finish his race.. nvm.. they still have races coming in Oct... go go go!

had 2 late nites on thurs and fri.. busy with work work work..

ytd went for breakfast @ Swensen's with mah dry mama and sally.. so long no see her.. haha! she's getting slimmer and i can see her, really happy and enjoying life with her family.. so happy for her! she's funny and i can't stand sally and her.. they are total fans for Precious Moments. wahaha! I got a pair of sandals... rewarding myself and had gelare ice cream with Sally.. yummy-licious indulgence~

as for today.. went with hubby to catch The House Bunny.. funny and touching movie! simple plot but yet, touches the hearts.. *_* then this evening, went to supermart with parents to get our grocery... got some snacks and some chocs for Deseree.. she's worth it.. she's helped me a lot at work! thanks ah gal! watched F1 with dad... he was singing praises for Singapore's prompt and good efforts in this race... good job SG!

yawns! gotta wake up early tmr.. work work work... can't wait for wed to come!

been a month since i last updated..

here's some quickies!

- went to Tioman on 4th Sept '08 to celebrate Sis and mah bday

- returned to work after mah short getaway...

- fell ill on last sun till current.. GOSH!

I really enjoyed my Tioman trip, prolly because I've nv seen such green/blue sea in my life and 'coz of the companionship - 2nd sis, her family and Botak! Leia had motion sickness (poor thingy!) during the sea rides.. 

When we were out snorkeling, I saw 3 small sharks (gosh!), coral reefs, many many fishes and errr.. sea cucumber?!?!  hmm.. seriously, I don't mind going to Tioman again! anyway, we planned to head for Redang next year. yay!

21st bday

opted for just simple meals with mah family and friends.. 

Had an early celebration with mah family... dinner with mah colleagues.. lunch with Jas and Ling.. and went to Tioman with Sis and mah 2 precious darlings! THANKS FOR YOUR PRESSIES!!!

so-so week

last week was a short and busy week.. 2 days MC and uber busy when i returned to work..

had a sumptous meal with mah colleagues on friday (01.08.08) @ Eleven Restaurant. the restaurant serve really nice pasta and yummy-licious desserts..

Last sun, we went to People's park to check out the getaway prices.. sis and i have decided on the place to head for our birthdays.. Tioman Island.. so HAPPY!!! hmm.. we also went to catch The Mummy: The tomb of the dragon emperor. the show's not bad but i prefer Batman..

wow! i'm falling in love with Christian Bale.. his bods-SEXY! haha.. mah botak commented that i was crazy.. haha~anyway, kudos to Heath Ledger for his superb acting skills.. he really played Joker very well and really sadistic.. haha! hmmm.. but i find the show's showing too much of the dark side as a hero and not really suitable for the young..

busy and ... really tired

hmm... been really really busy these days..
gotten mah results and again... passed 1 and failed another (the exact subj tt i failed last round - Corp. Sec). I was really upset and disappointed with myself.. y? partially 'coz of the way people commented on my failure and the other part was why did i fail again! they kept saying " why did u fail and of all, a subj tt's so relevant and similar to what u're doing"..

seriously, instead of consoling, people gave such comment.. how would u react? i won't wanta and am really tired of explaining. im was really down, then! now, everything's over and anyway, i've submitted my enrolment/resit forms..

sometimes, it's really hard to find someone u can trust at work and even in ur circle of friend. i'm so tired of those harsh and not-so-nice comments at work.. can't these people just stay clear from me and DO YOUR JOB?!?

pardon my naggings, i really need an outlet to vent mah anger and relieve my naggings!
enuff of nonsense.. here's some notes to take for mah bday:-
1. i don't think i'm having a bday party, so if u guys wanta celebrate for me, we can have a meal ok? reason being: i'm too tired to organise such a big party and i may be gg overseas with mah sis's family and mah botak..

2. u're really really, NOT obliged to get me pressie.. but if u insist, try to get me something i really like and practical... BUT NOT, anything in pink, bracelets, rings etc.. so sorry for my picky-ness.. *_*

3. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND TOO MUCH ON ME_eeeeeee!

Sis Gernis's wedding

last nite, went to Sis Gernis's wedding with mah family.. she's mah Da-sao's younger sis.. haha! no wonder people owaes say da bride's always the prettiest and most glamorous lady of da nite! shall post her pics when i get them.. and as usual, mah five monsters were mah "avenue of fun", haha!

had a lazy day with dearie today.. breakfast and watched the simulcast of Tang Xin Feng Bao on cable vision.. then, Bak Kut Teh for lunch and a walk @ IKEA.. I find the place rather untidy after its make-over.. errr... very small walking space to accomodate weekend crowd..

Duan Wu Jie is here!!!... so many dumplings at home.. yummy!!! fats accumulating.. how am i to squeeze into mah ROM dress.. gosh! nagging all da time, till mah botak & sis also gave up on me.. haha... they commented tt i always tok but no action on dieting.. so they rather ignore mah naggings. (*_*") wahaha..

im so gonna catch Kung-fu Panda.. the reviews for the show's pretty good!

been busy since i returned to work.. life's back to the usual - boring & tiring life...

ytd, hubby and I went to catch the Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian.. not bad.. it's better than the 1st.. then i went on a shopping spree to relieve STRESS.. got myself an Elizabeth Arden's 30ml Green Tea perfume and a blouse from ZARA... thereafter, went straight home to rest and prep to go for Johnson's wedding at Orchard Parade Hotel..his wife's petite and very photogenic!

Many events happened for the past weeks. Exams were over, China earthquake, baby went down his knees and proposed.. these events somehow triggered some cents of thots...

I wanta share with all of ya the following quote on HAPPINESS that my god-mama shared with me previously..

quarrelled with mum over some small issues.. felt so upset with the words she spurted out of anger... hubby promised to come over to talk to me.. thanks dearie! sis was clever enuff... she asked mah precious two monsters (Lucas & Leia) to accompany me in my room.. they were really cute and kept asking.. Xiao Yi, y u cry? y popo (granny) scold u? and they even brought in tissue papers for me to wipe my useless tears.. haha! im glad i have them! they are so so so cute and sweet! aren't they?

busy with AGMs for the past week.. busy clearing my work.. can't wait to laze at home from 2nd May to 22 May 2008... gotta study though.. hope i can pass this time round and clear both papers!

i hate it when things don't sail smoothly..

boring weekends

getting really bored with mah weekends... hubby and i were totally too tired and lazy to go to anywhere... we just rotted at home.. mum's out of town to Hatyai and mah lil monsters didn't come to my place this weekend.. finished my minutes of board meeting, gotta start on my last set of minutes... gosh! i hate writing minutes... really!

went out with Jas and Ling on 29th March 2008 at Miss Clarity Cafe.. food was not bad but the drinks sucks! anyway, jas and ling had stomach ache the day after, i was fine..

i found tt i really missed lotsa fun since i started my work.. less shopping, less eating out, less outdoor activities and less movie nites.. hmmm.. baby and i planned to go for cycling next sat (hope it doesn't rain)!

since i was really bored, i thot of many many things... mah 5 monsters are growing up really fast... Lucas's P2, Leia, Megan & Xinyi's gg to P1 next yr and Kai Xun's K2 next yr... isn't it fast? they were just babies ytd.. rmbered the 1st time i had my 1st monster in the family - Lucas.. he's sooooo cute! now, still cute and well-behaved but much taller and doesn't need me to carry already... haiz... and my leia even told me this " Xiao Yi, don't call me baby, call me leia..." haha!

updates (Feb - Mar 2008)

here's some updates for the month of Feb till Mar 2008...

Hubby and I had successfully chosen and placed the option fee for our choiced home unit @ Segar Meadows... Finally, we've made our decision to get this apartment *_*

Next, Hubby and I took off to HK on 28th Feb 2008... I attended a meeting with my boss @ our client's office on 29th Feb and baby stayed in the hotel till my bro and his wife arrived in HK... Then, after the meeting, we went to Cheung Chau for dinner with my relatives and mummy! 1st of Mar was my cousin's BIG BIG Day! went for shopping in the afternoon and then to his grand affair @ Harbour Plaza in the evening...

2nd of Mar - 4th of Mar were tiring yet fruitful days for shopping and sight-seeing in HK... Poor hubby had food poisoning and spent full day in the hotel resting.. 5th was the day to return to SG and we checked in at the airport 3 hrs earlier to shop there.. haha!

6th was the official work day for me.. but i went on MC yet, again! had rashes due to the dry and cold weather in HK... gosh! been busy with work since i return work on fri (7th)...

and till 13th Mar... took half day MC and on 14th... full day MC... gosh! wad went wrong? i gotta see a gynaecologist asap! it's the women's problem.. and it's causing so much trouble and so much so, MCs... haizz... i think im super weak... and during the weekend, caught cold and down with flu again!!! flu bug, pls leave me alone!

tmr is a brand new day.. gotta return to work, no matter what... otherwise, i think i'll be called into the office for counselling.. haha! Hubby's booking in now for his 2nd week of reservist..

kinda miss him when he's not readily available for me to call and disturb him.. haha! im praying real hard for my health and work.. i hope everything will run smoothly for me this year.. really... hopefully, no more MCs... had enuff... hate it when pple comment tt im weak.. but no choice, i'm really weak...........

hubby and i are now planning and gonna start saving hard for our new home, wedding and our next travel... sometimes, i just have this thot... to be a billionaire... don't hafta worry for $$$... but now, i guess im shld be more than contented to have a happy family inclusive of my 5 healthy and mischevious monsters, a wonderful hubby-to-be and a bunch of good pals (u noe who u r)...
