1. went to botak's cousin's Baby shower on 01.01.08
he's really cute! Baby Samuel.. chubby and gosh! his eyes... sooooo big and round! carried him for a while.. i love the baby's unique scent/smell.. haha
2. got my results for my 2 ICSA papers.. passed Corporate Governance and failed Corporate Secretaryship.. yes.. i failed... it was expected coz i realli don't noe how to do the paper. Also, i focused on Listing Manual but it came out to be mainly on Private Limited Companies.. But u noe what, I cried when i heard the news..gosh!
nvm.. anyway, im glad my other colleagues made it, CONGRATS! one of my colleague actually asked me.. don't u feel sad when the others passed all and some even did better than u and got Merit? I told her.. NO... in fact, im really happy for them. this kinda thing is how much understanding u have and the efforts u put into studying.. i admit, i didn't put in enough efforts for CS.. im feeling better now.. decided to buck up this time round and im taking 2 subjects this time round.. CS and Corporate Administration (CA).. the rest are taking their final lapse, CA and Corporate Financial Management (CFM)... i heard the passing rate for CFM wasn't pleasing.. so i decided not to be so KIASU to take upload 3 modules this time.. i cannot afford to fail again.. it's hindering the start of my bond period..
3. celebrated ling's 21st bday.. i felt way out of place.. we weren't as close as we used to be.. i love to be in the clique.. but i guess, now tt im working and they are studying the same course and working near one another.. so tt's one of the reason ba.. anyways, Happy sweet 21st my gal!
4. had a discussion with my supervisor - Assistant Manager... she mentioned my strengths & weaknesses.. i guess i needa improve in my speed of work and accuracy.. i told her frankly on certain issues affecting me and she accepted. im glad and i hope she'll be nice and to give me time to improve.
5. got the 1st bonus in my life... it wasn't fantastic and at least, it's still $$$... something well-deserved for all of us, our efforts and time... CHEERS! gave mum & dad extra cash.. they're sooo happy.. im happy too! bought extra gifts for mah 5 monsters.. gave hubby a treat.. got a blouse from Topshop - $29, a dress from a store along
6. planning for our trip to HK... we're gg there for my cousin's wedding on 1st Mar and shopping! haha.. after much deliberation, hubby finally gave his nod to go.. sis-in-law found a free and easy package for 6 days 5 nites - $800+... gotta double check again... coz hubby and i will got for a shorter trip.. abt 3-4 nites only... coz the week after we return SG, he's gg for his reservist... 2-3weeks.. gonna miss him.. and my boss initially disapprove of my leave.. then she gave her green light but warned that i shld take only a short trip.. so i got her hint... *_*
7. went to Sentosa with my colleagues last sat... fun... brought mah 2 monsters there... they enjoyed and wanting to go again.. im glad im a good nanny.. haha!
